Customer Spotlight: Just Like Vegas Casino Parties
At Casino Supply, we work with a lot of different and unique customers, from casino night party companies and small casinos to private individuals and custom table makers. Everyone of our customers is special, so we like to take a moment and showcase a few of those customers and share what makes these customers great.
What is the name of your company?
My name is Mark Guzman and we are called Just Like Vegas Casino Parties (JLV).
How long have you been in business?
We are the newest casino party company in South Texas formed in March of 2014.
Where do you operate / what is your coverage area?
San Antonio and surrounding areas: Helotes, Boerne, Kerrville, Castroville, Seguin, & New Braunfels. Austin and surrounding areas: Round Rock, San Marcos, Georgetown, & Leander. Corpus Christi and surrounding areas: Kingsville, Calallen, Robstown, & Portland.
What size events can you accommodate?
We can accommodate parties of 25 to 500 guests and are always expanding with new tables and more modern games every few months.
Do you also provide any other services besides casino parties?
Just Like Vegas partners with Premiere League Poker (www.plpsa.com) who have specialized in large poker tournaments for over 10 years. We also can provide DJ and up-lighting services for any event.
What is your favorite thing about the casino party business?
I truly enjoy seeing the look on our guests faces when they first walk into our casinos. We work hard to create a layout that is truly modern Vegas with a functional floor layout that they all love. Getting feedback that they have never seen anything like it before makes a huge difference in why I do this. My background is in customer service, so I love the interaction with guests and enjoy making them feel like they are High Rollers at a High End Casino.
What is the most memorable thing that has happened at one of your events?
My most memorable moment was recently at my Catholic grade school casino night where I attended for 8 years. Before every event I always address our guests explaining how the casino night works and answer any questions they might have. Before I went on stage, the coordinator interrupted and introduced me as an Alumni who was donating our services for the night (which I had not told anyone about.) I received so much applause and it really felt good to give back to community that I had grown up in and helped turn me into what I am today.
